I’m published, y’all!

…kind of! My blog post about my work’s #creativemoco tweetup at the Fillmore Silver Spring went live on Wednesday on Americans for the Arts’ ARTSblog, which was super cool. Many thanks again to Tim for allowing me to share this story!

Read it, read it nowww. 🙂

So when people on Facebook meet each other IRL, is it called a FaceUp?

The Fillmore Silver Spring: so shiny.

…I’m guessing the answer is no.

Don’t let my lame attempt at humor deter you from attending the #CreativeMoCo Tweetup! It’s hosted by my work, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, at the fabulous Fillmore Silver Spring. I’m really looking forward to meeting others in our local creative community and sharing how easy it is to get involved and support our local arts and humanities budget.

No, there’s no velvet rope set up against non-Tweeters (as if!) and no, it’s not a Montgomery County-only event. If you’re in the area, stop by — it’s going to be a good time! (Registration IS required, though.)

Just the facts, m’am: #CreativeMoCo Tweetup. Wednesday, February 22 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. The Fillmore Silver Spring, 8656 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD (Silver Spring Metro on the Red Line). Free to attend, food and drink available to purchase. Other details and registration (which is required) is here.

BAM. Instagrammed!

Check out my work’s blog for a few pictures I Instagrammed during an awards ceremony I produced a couple of weeks ago. It was so amazing to be able to watch the rehearsal and soundchecks upclose, especially from the talented performers we featured that night.

Thanks to everyone who was involved with the production of the event!
